Saw this link on the Flypast board.  Some really great color shots from the end of the war in the Pac.  B29s, 17s, 25s etc

Those are nice pics.  I've never seen such high quality color pics from that era.

I believe so. Some also had wing mounted bomb racks. They also had provision for a torpedo racks ,aerial mines and "Tiny Tim" rocket mounts (externally on the bombay).

Very nice pictures indeed!

I especially like that shot of the P-51 and the 2 different Jug versions lined up!

can someone tell what moddels are the jugs in the picture? cause i have no clue :o

Well the first one looks abit like the N model?
The second one...well...maybe C/D11?

Looks like 'they' tuned the color balance, and the contrast.  

I have done the same thing to older photos, and you can get some really nice results.
