Hey, ive gotten my friend into AH from him watching me play at my house and i got him to download it. He didnt have a joystick then but was going to play with a mouse, then he got an error saying something about a joystick so we figured he needed one, so just last night we went out and got a Thrustmaster reflex USB 3d, and got it installed and working (albiet some trouble) but we still get the same error, and he cant play. Whats up?

Thanks in advance.

PS. the error was ' Initaliazation failed at -4, joystick failed -4 ' Though im sure you knew which error i was talking about any ways, just wanted to be clear.

If your using Dx7, there is a known usb joystick issue. Dx7a has been released and is supposed to fix this problem. I noticed a big gain in Frame rates in Flanker 2 etc. Sorry, can't comment on the USB stick issue as I won't have one untill Christmas! But I'm ready.

Its alright we got it fixed up. My friend actually noticed an FPS _drop_ with dx7a ....but then agian he had it before he started playing...on his 233 with an ati rage he only gets like 3-14 fps at 640x480. Kinda odd. Prolly just his system, its his parents and it sucks royally. Not like my uberbox
