thats the problem with "boxed" systems .. you usually need to crack the case open and get the number right off the motherboard ...  dell, hp, compac, ect all use boards from the major manufactuers  such as Asus, intel, amptron, ect

you can take 5 pc's with the same model number but if they are built a month apart you may find 3-5 different boards in them.

I can run AH2 on 800 mhz and a 64 meg card actually ;)

As another example:
I've got a Gateway with a PIII-866 MHz CPU, 512 Megs Ram, and I'm thinkin of upgrading my vid card (the original Nvidia TNT2) to a ATI Radeon 9600SE. That should run AH2 just fine. Yeah yeah, I know the 9600SE is not as potent as the Pro, but the real bottle neck here is my CPU: a more powerful vid card than the 9600SE would be a waste (it's touted as having 128 megs memory, but it's bandwidth is only 64 megs).

Don't waste your hard earned dollars on a "SE" or "LE" version of any vid card:rolleyes:

Trust me on this one!
