Not for those who hadn't even bothered to check to see whats what.

"Why are the icons underneath the plane"

"These new range icons suck"

"Why do I keep stalling"

"Sliders? What sliders"

"How do I turn off mouse view"

"What do you mean no fuel porking!!!!"

Channel 1 might explode, best shut it down again....

:D

Wait wait wait. Hold the phone.

Remember HTC doesnt measure time the same way the rest of the world does.
Now if  "2 weeks" equals Several months
What would "sometime next week" equal?:lol

It doesn't have to be perfect for the community to move.  It has to be playable.  I expect to see a whole lot of updates and constant improvment as time goes by.

I think this is an exciting time for AHII, even tho the game play will still be as timid as AHI, the graphics and FM will make even the current status quo better.

I can't wait for the first few times the servers or something goes down ( you know the usual new release 500 people plus stuff ), the whines oh the whines lolh.

Remember change is good, don't fight change cause you cant lol.

I agree with mars.

I have not been this excited about AH since the LAST beta. Comeing out of beta into full production is a exciting time.

There are big changes,  lots of interaction with the HTC crew (which you KNOW we love).

Another thing is there are enough changes that everyone is relearning the game over again.

This levels the playing field.
Everyone has the same chance to work hard, fly like there is no tommorow & end up on the top of the heap. Its a level playing field with dedication, skill & a bit of luck the deciding factors.

Just as the beta of AH1 was the basis for MUCH more exciting things to come.
So will the Beta for AH2 be the base for LOADS of goodies down the road.

Its a great time to be flying, so enjoy!

As far as the changes go, they can be learned pretty quickly. They aren't as BIG as they are being made out to be. Gunnery has changed but only a tad. FM has changed but for the better I think. The view is a bit different but that wont effect the way I fly.

As far as I am concerned and the way I play AH1 now, AH2 is just a nicer looking AH1.

Heck, if I could put up with the early days of AW on Genie, AHII will seem like a quantum leap forward, even with it's warts and all.
