I used that setup last couple years along with the peds.  I didn't install CH manager or SW Profiler.  I ust used native XP drivers and assigned everythin in AH.

I recently switched to CH Fighterstick so Falcon 4/Free Falcon would see all three as one controller.

How do I......(help!!!!)
« Reply #3 on: December 21, 2003, 07:36:30 AM »
I am being forced into using my CH fighter stick and pre pedals as my MSFB2 has seen its last flight. I used the CH in 277 but had a friend set up the mapping. I am unable to program my remaining 3 hat switches and throttle does not respond. Is there something I'm missing or not seeing, or is it not possible to just pic a funtion and assign it a place on the stick? ! more thing, When i zoom in on target from the cockpit, i get a fairly good bumbing of the nose of my plane and it gets even stronger when firing guns. What, if any adjustment can i make to possibly help .

I just want to say that AH has been nothing but fun for me. Cooley talked me into coming over from warbirds 277 and try the 2 week trail period. I'm here to tell you that by the 3rd day and some great assitance and patience from the 367th, I had made up my mind to leave 277 and stay in AH. It's been a month now and I'm still having a blast. Its clear to me now that 277 sucks!

Thanks and please Bare with the newbee: flkjkt21

You probably need to go into the Assignments screen to assign the proper Axis for your Throttle.  IIRC AH only supports 2 hat switches...

This should help...

Thanks but I have tried that window. There is no way to assign an individual function to the stick if AH doesnt recognize it. It shouldt be this damn difficult or... maybe im just an idiot.. either way, im figen frustrated as hell. I appreciate you replying to my post

Did you read my post above yours and the link in it?  Each Axis/button can be assigned a function in AH without the CH software.  If you mean the 4-way hats, assign each hat as four indivdual buttons (ie. 6,7,8,9) rather than as a hat.

You may need to scale down the sensitivity in your stick in AH, especially pitch and yaw.

Oops I just saw your reply saying the controllers don't show up in AH.  It won't work until they show up.  Are they USB?  If not, you may have to get USB adapters to make them work with XP.

I used to run a MS Sidewinder PP2 and a CH pro usb throttle....now I run a MSSFF2 and the CH pro USB throttle and have no problems.

you really need to pay attention to how you set it up in AH....DO NOT USE ANY OF THE ACOMPANYING software if you are DONT.

If you like I could send you my stick.cfg file to help you out.
