Fighter Stats, (Includes SBD because it was flown as a fighter somewhat often.)

All stats {kills of \ killed by (KD ratio)}

A6M-2 verses P-40B > 708 / 535 (1.32)
A6M-2 verses Spit I > 348 / 291 (1.2)
A6M-2 verses SBD > 242 /231 (1.05)

It looks like the best Allied fighter was the SBD!

You are kidding, right?  1.32 isn't close at all.  Invert it, and the p40B has about a 75% chance against the a6m2.  Roughly the same chance an a6m2 has against the "uber" p40e in the main arena last month.

You see what the point is, yes?  This is why some of us get SO TIRED of the "playability" adjustments, and the lameass excuses for making them.  One week the argument is for "historicity", the next it's for "playability".  And every time it is for the advantage of the axis planeset.

Give me a break.
