Friday never looked so good...

Wheeeewww, finaly Friday. The longest week ever recorded in AH history has been recorded. Dweebus Terrainus will become extinct for a while. Fleets with no CVs.... Mid-air guns at port........ and La7s that come in minimum orders of 10 or more will be laid to rest. TGIF!

FesterMA is what he is talking about.

Now that it is gone it will probably be back to long boring flights to find enemy cons.

First, get the rotation correct;

FesterMA/Mindnao
Trinity/NDisles
SFMA/Baltic/NDisles/Mindnao
AKDesert/Baltic
Bigisles/SFMA
SFMA/Baltic/NDisles/Mindnao

Repeat

Now I will say this; It does not matter what the rotation is, someone will complain. I will not beat my head against that wall. The goal is to keep things varied or at least to give every player the chance to insure the game will vary.

It could be worse Curv..... at least it's the improved Trinity. We've got two weeks to play before you really need to get up to speed in you-know-what.  ;)

WOW!!  You didn't like CV_less Fleets??  I thought it was kinda cool and realistic.  Heck yeah, let the "Boat Gunners" have some fun.  Take a field by shelling and LVTs.  Hmmm... didn't try it this time but I might the next!

GO NAVY!!

that single battleship can waste cv fleets with ease.

and to me it adds more variety to the sea warfare
Fester was my in game name until September 2013

These were a great addition to the map. I destroyed 2 CV fleets myself with the single battleship.

Snuck 1 in behind the enemy CV while it was fighting another CV group ... never knew what hit them.

The positive about them is that you will never have dweeb take off and squirrel a sneak attack :).

I liked the vast majority of the changes in the Fester map.

1. The low clouds were awesome, maybe it was just the look and fun of having to fly in them (and I'll probably get sick of them) but it was my favorite change.

2. The change up in the fleets was good, made recon more important. I'd like to see free roving destroyer groups not tied to a port that would respawn after 45minutes or so, to give the GV gents (not me) the ability to take a field with just LVTs/PTs.

3. The GV spawn distance was dropped back a little I think, it was the right decision.
---
The one thing I didn't like was it seemed the fights were alot higher in the Fester map this last rotation than ever before. Not really sure why (maybe to stay above the cloud cover) but we had enemy routinely above 25k (not buffs either).

Only ones that don't like Festerama are the one's that don't like to fight. Fun map Fester, thanks.
