FS 2002 question
« on: January 03, 2004, 11:40:04 AM »
So recently I've been wanting to get a version of Flight Simulator, I'm pretty sure 2000 would work fine but 2002 looks so much better, the system requirements say 300 mhz and a 8 mb video card but i'm pretty sure that's if you want to play at 5 fps.

Since I'm pretty sure many of you guys have played FS 2002, i'd like to know if that game would work okay (not necessarely with all the details on and 1024x768 resolution) on my machine or if i'd have to go with 2000 :

AMD K6-2 450mhz
Geforce2 MX400 64mb
196 mb SDRAM

Thanks for your time!

Krusty,

It's going to be close on that machine.  FS2002 is a fine program, and in some ways better than '04', but I'm just not sure you have the power to run either.  Just my opinion....

You can probably run 2K2 on that machine, but by the time you turn down all the details to get the FPS you want, you won't be looking at anything better than 2K.
