Heheheheh, yeah, been there and done some of that. Not to mention some brilliantly planned long-range strikes ending midway in silence as planes slowly glide away with empty fuel tanks since they forgot to click on increased loads.

been there too,

flew (In WB) the troops for a squad mission, landed at the field, instead of releasing the troops with the fire button, I hit enter 10 times, of course 3 times was enough to send me to the tower. The squad were devastated, and so was I. Only saving grace was that the squad CO a few weeks before had navigated 8 B17's in to a mountain.

Did allmost the same thing. I was playing both AW and AH at the time. I had just flown a sortie in AH. Then switched to AW for squad night. 30 of us hit the runway on a heavy pony raid. I had not changed my stick set. Hit the button to turn engine on but droped my eggs instead. Boom my screen scrolls you have just killed xxMAW. Everyone was going WTF was that who dropped the bombs. I am ROFLMAO so bad I couldent talk. We still get a big laugh on that one.

Hey Ice, I think I remember that Typhoon HQ "raid." I think a few of us made it through... I think Rip made it without lowering his gear. I ended up "driving" up the side. Maybe it was another time.

Dropping bombs on the runway is always hilarious. I loved carbombing. A small 234 "race" in the SEA was quite fun. The last run, just before Ghosth yelled "GO", I dropped the 500kg and killed the 15 or so racers
