Why's that?  P51B has under 1 K/D and the D pony has just a smidge over 1 K/D.  Pony is dangerous if flown like it should be, but in the hands of someone like me, the Pony is ineffective!

One small point:
RG, you mention not seeing the other guy's tracers.

Tracers are an option, default is "ON"; but it's up to you. Some swear it helps (I think it does), others, more sure of their marksmanship, leave them off hoping for a bigger "surprise bounce". I must admit seeing tracers come over the canopy has kept me alive for another 4/345 of a sec on occasion.....

I would never run from a pony while flying a spit unless I didn't have any cannon rounds left... even then I might try to BB him to death.
Just get him turning and slow and he's toast.

I've been flying the spit9 recently.  What I've learned is to never fire the mgs and cannon at the same time.  Their balistics are too different, which means you can't tell cannon rounds from mg rounds.  When you bounce someone from above, get close and only fire cannon.  If just one ineffective 30 cal bullet hits them they will hear it and break.

I've had the best luck with cannons set to 300 yds and mgs set to 450.  This lets me do some long range "noise making" and getting the other guy to turn.  If you can force them to turn they are yours.
