All,

After almost 2 1/2 years this is going to be my final tour with AH in it's current form. I'm going to ask the HT guys to place my account on hold until AH2 comes out.

Which is a great shame since I'm going to miss the AH community the most. As for the game itself that grew old long ago and no longer offers any challange or enjoyment for me.

Plus for the past few months I've been having endless connection problems,lag and packet loss to AH server with no resolve which has really been the final straw.

So all the best all for 2004, hope to see you all when AH2 finally (if ever this year) lands on our desktops. Will continue to follow the message boards and stay in touch.

To all those Rooks who I've flown solidly with for over 2 years good luck. To all the many foes thanks for the great fights.

Oh, I'll be around World War 2 Online from time to time, so if you call in you might see me there.

Gix,

Stay in touch. I've fought against you (109 v P51) and it was fun, even though we smack talked eachother afterwards.

I know exactly where you're coming from on the gameplay/challenge thing, but have you tried the CT? Not sure how many might be in there during antipodean hours, but it's worth a try. I think you get a better class of pilot in there, and more challenges because you're not always flying your favourite ride. I wish I'd gone there a long time ago.

On the connects, I hear you. I remember how bad it was for me in the WB days - and again, your part of the world seemed to suffer more than most, for some reason. In AH it's much better for me - sorry you're having problems.
