Video Card Temp?

At present I can monitor the CPU tempt also the MoBo, is there a program where one can see the VIDEO CARD TEMP?

ASUS P4C800Deluxe Intel 3.0 MHz. AIW 9800PRO 128.

The program that monitors the video card temperature should have come on the video card CD.  For my Radeon 9600XT the program is called "SmartDoctor" and it throttles the video card fan depending on temperature (or 3D load, user choice).

Looked in the CD, could not indentify anything that would record temps for the video card, may have missed it or not knowing what to look for.

BTW, am using the ASUS Probe V2.20.07, it does not show video card temps.

Only the ATI 9600 XT and 9800 XT have an onboard temperature sensor.  The 9800 Pro does not.  

(One way you could get some sort of temperature display for that card is to attach a thermistor to the heatsink on the video card and use one of the front panel diagnostic devices you can find at some computer stores.)

You can get a cooling fan that plugs into tha mobo to monitor fan speed, as long as your fan is running your gpu is not likely to overheat.

asus probe (came with your mobo) will do it for you.  load it up from the disk that came with board.

Any fan with 3 wires will work.

Thanks all: I got the Zalman VGA Heatpipe Cooler ZM80C-HP plus the ZM-OP1 80mm Fan, should help.
This installs on the Radeon 9800Pro 128.
