Answer to Constant Speed Props

Microsoft CFS and FS both have it just about right. Just make sure you select manual instead of the default? auto in flight/engine/realism or whatever it was called.

In MSCF you also have to get the engine controls in view since the pitch setting (speed) is mouse operated.

  The AH engine model is very incomplete.  It didn't exist at all until a few versions ago.  Right now, as I remember HT's comments, changing RPM only modifies the torque.  In the future though, it should be more complete.

PS-I bet it stays this way for a while as they iron out stability problems...
