Is AH still to become "AH Classic"?
« on: January 09, 2004, 12:00:39 PM »
When the highly anticipated release of TOD arrives, what will be the fate of our current game?

I have heard 2 versions- The first being that AH will still be offered in the early stages of TOD going live, providing a choice while all the bugs get worked out in TOD.

The second version is that when TOD goes live- the original will be closed completely.

I am also curious about the scheduled fate of the H2H arena, A definate feather in HTCs cap. Will it be available when TOD takes over?

AH2 will consist of two parts, TOD and AH Classic. AH Classic being basicaly what we have now in the MA.

Well I hope Jackal is rite on this 1. I'm not to excited about trying to play TOD in the first few months. I feel its similar to buying a car in its first year of production.

How about H2H, anyone have any info on its future? Its great to be able to tell people about the game & explain that they can learn for free & then pay for the big game when they are ready.

AH1 will be gone.

AH2 will be AH1 gameplay (main arena style) and after a while the TOD will be added as an option.

The Beta just released is numbered 1.998 - just one more Beta left until 2.0 going by past numbering scheme anyway.  (It is THAT close?)
