You say, this storch guy just started cursing at me on vox for no reason a few weeks ago... I have been in the game for a few years now and I have heard a  lot but never just such a random assault. :)

Grade is A, didnt fly that much but I enjoyed the fights I got.

I'm not a big late-war fan, so this setup probably couldn't have gotten more than a C from me, anyway.

The grade was lowered because of the perk planes.  Although the numbers have been such that I've been unable to fly the allied side even once this week, my understanding is that there were A LOT of 262s in the sky.  From the Axis perspective, there were A LOT of Tempests, too.  The resulting b&z style of fighting just doesn't appeal to me.

"C" I was Hankerin' for some ETO action, but I perfer 1944 so I can fly my P-51B.  :)  I was a little put off by the frequency of the perk planes, but again I just don't care for the perk rides in general, outside of the occasional joyride of course. :)

My biggest gripe with the setup last week wasn't so much the planeset as the terrain it was run on.  I got some red/green color blindness so in the MA I use white icons for the enemy, though no color really is that good (blue I lose against the water, black against darker terrain tiles, or at night, etc.)  But white icons don't do me a lot of good on a winter map and/or a map with heavy cloud cover.

What do I expect the CM's to do about this?  nothing really.  I mean it's my problem and I'm sure I'm in the minority of AHer's that have this issue so I make do like everyone else.

So when all was said and done I didn't have any large problems with the setup but a few smaller ones that kinda kept me away from the CT for the week.
80th FS "Headhunters"
I blame mir.

LOL  this makes it even better!!! :lol :lol :rofl :rofl

May I quote you in my petition to join the FDB squad?

Hillarious!!!!  :lol  :rofl

On account of this new information I formally change my grade of this setup from a mere A to an A+++++++++++++++.

C+

Enjoyed the challenge of getting gun solutions with the tater tossers against highly manuverable Tempests and Spit14s. The only downside was the essential need to fly the jets as Axis prop planes were greatly outclassed by this point.

Not enough bombers to really enjoy the Jet planes.

I found the G10 fully competitive in this setup provided that you kept it at the right altitudes.

I think the D9 would suffer more on account of the tempest as its presence negates the D9s considerable speed and slashing attack advantages over the Spitfire 14.
