Anyone else not able to go online with 1.07?

I've never had a problem with updates before, but now AH locks up when I try to go online.

When I confirm my account details and click ok, it locks up and causes an 'invalid page fault'.

Try a fresh new install. You can copy the .cfg files to a temp dir and copy them back into their respective dirs and all is well. Except video.cfg, that might of been changed this new release.

If you have no joy on this one (I hope you have a high speed connx so you don't waste 45 minutes) then it could be.... well it can't be a connection issue. AH doesn't update any system files.

Maybe a fresh install would be the way to go... I'm just talking out my buttocks on this one though.

If you use zonealarm as a firewall it will cause this untill you go in and give AH permission to connect.  The update must change the execute and you have to give it permission again.

I'm having a similar problem but I've learned to shutdown Zone Alarm before getting online with AH.  However, I get about halfway thru the 1.07 download (approx. 4.88 Meg) before mine locks up and I need to do a cold reboot. This has happened 5-6 times.

That's why I never go online until the last patch is issued. Once that happens I raid H2H for several days straight.

Thanks guys.

I have Norton Personal Security installed - it's already configured to allow AH to use the internet, but I guess updating the program might mess with this. I'll delete the profile and make another one.
