Thanks again for your input Bug. Just so you know we already have a framework laid out for reworking Squires suggested setup with base locations and a different map. Lets just say that I am looking at a March date on this one. It would be another setup suggested by someone who is a functioning part of the CT Development Group...Squire/Warloc.

The Soccer War setup I put together in about 30 minutes one night then the next day Brady gave some input and after about 6 emails between us it was fleshed out. Then "Perdonia" was decided on as the terrain due to the short time frame we were working on with it and then it was time to run the setup.

I think that one would work with a correct terrain and properly skinned aircraft for each side. Is it a great setup? I know its not the best setup that has been run but at least it gave people something to talk about and critique. Just like the BCS does for college football.

please do try and keep up. if you read carefully, you'll catch it.

i do suppose it's understandable tho', what with all your lashing out that you'd eventually hit an innocent bystander.

Once again I will believe it when I see it.  So far it's just a cog in a broken and outdated machine.

Well ... they aren't cloaked alright. Just kinda odd to see the flailing in every direction. The CT devgroup got together to  offer options to change things. Hopefully for the better. If ya don't like what they're doing either then you can choose to be an armchair critic or join. From what I've seen the CT dev group has open membership to whomever wants to participate. It ain't the CT staff. ;)

And whom do you propose offering those options too??

I could join or not, either way I don't see it being anymore than an armchair critic.

Try joining and finding out. It's not like you have to sign an obligatory contract to stay there while we throw things at you. :D

Just look at the options you have available next time you are on the board bug. It should be in the Special Events section.
