Terrrain Bug?

I don't know if this has been reported or not, but there seems to be a problem with gv's falling into invisible rifts in the terrain, whereby the vehicle's track/wheels accelerate to extremely high speeds while the vehicle itself just spins in circles half in, half out of the terrain. The only way out of the situation, that I have found, is alt f4. This happens to all vehicles on different areas of the map. I have heard several different people mention this happening to them the few times that I have been online.

If more specific locations or information is needed I'll be happy to go find one of these 'rifts'.

Otherwise the game runs as well as can be expected on my old GF2 MX card, AMD 1.67GHz, 512mb system running XP.

I've had that happen to me several times in the last version, though I haven't tested it in this version yet.  Alt-F4 was the only way out each time.

its still happening  it seams to me that it happens right as you leave the area around the VH base ..

ive tested it in the latest verson and the only way out is alt f4 .

Same here.

I also see sort of "cliffs" forming in some parts of the terrain.

It seems like certain objects, like airfields for instance, are supposed to be totally flat with absolutely 0 degrees of inclination towards all sides.

When these flat objects are layed out on the terrain, the edge part where it meets other normal and sloped/bumpy grounds, it forms a "cliff" which looks very ugly.

Maybe if they added in another, vertical texture which applies to only terrains... like maybe something looking like reinforced grounds structure seen in construction sites?
