As a GV "newbie" my big problem with spawn camping is with the spawn process itself...not the spawn camper. Some type of randomization needs to be added. Lets say anywhere in a 3000yd zone or something. Fix the spawn process and you fix the camper...he'll still have the advantage as defender to pick his terrain but he wont have a bore sighted target.

I'd love to spawn camp one day. I tried it yesterday, but a Hurri I strafed me and took out the turret on my Tiger. I got another Tiger but an M8 killed me at 2000yds while I was moving to the ideal terrain as per Sun Tzu.

So then I saw an enemy Tiger pop up, so I got a Stuka with an 1800kg bomb. I spent half an hour getting to 10k and then lined the sucker up for a perfect drop. Except one of my team mates flew under me as the bomb went off and kill shot me. So then I got a P47-D30 with the full load out. All 10 rkts bounced off. I am NOT sh__tting you. So I got some more alt and set the 1000lbers to both drop at the same time. End result was a Tiger sitting in the middle of a double crater. So I came back and rode the 500lber in like Slim Pickens. Dropped too low and the bomb didn't go off.

Strafed him for 20 minutes or so until my ammo was gone.

Landed.

Got another Tiger.

Panzer IV sitting right next to the VH lets off a round and ***** slaps me so hard my ears are still ringing the next day. 3rd Tiger dead.

Spawn camping really isn't my cup of tea.

whatever he did is in the past....which I was not part of....even If I was....unlike you....I don't live in the past.

up until now....the 418 Hornets.....and myself have nothing but respect for what he did in training and giving helpful tips to squadmates.

and your deliberate slandering of MT is getting long winded and very boring....I see creativity doesn't run rampate in your family...keep living in the past:aok

so you are a major investor eh?

what people have done in the past is the past but... if they are unrepentant and continue to be..... "evasive" then they probly haven't changed much.   We are not talking about something minor or a one time deal here tho.

You do realize that it's not slander if it's true... right?  You might find it tiresome to hear about it so frequently, but slander it most definitely is not.

Spare me the righteous indignation.  Repetition is not slander, though obviously you fail to understand this.

In the future, you might also want to consider taking discussions to private e-mail if you don't want others to interject opinion on an open forum.  In the meantime, you're just going to have to deal with it.

If there is any doubt in anyones mind that he is a spawn camping, cherry picking, strat milking dweeb, just go look at his stats. Look here He has never been killed in 14 fighter runs, his buff hit % is up where only a stuka run milkrunning dweeb could have it. His 66:1 K/D gv score is a reflection of his camping. He is either the best pilot/GVer/bomber Ive ever seen or he is just what everyone says he is. A SPAWNCAMPIN CHERRYPICKER. In fact, look at ROD367th's post about being a score potato and you will find that MetaTron actually follows ROD's instructions fairly good.

haha, a thread about spawn camping turns into a debate about slander...

btw, Spawn Camping is kinda lame...  but I also think vulchin is too.  Although vulchin to a lesser extent because you can llok outta the tower and see enemy planes orbiting the field, you can't do that with vehicle spawns.

isnt it same thing as vulching? no. if you chose to keep spawning into a supressed zone or up a set of lancasters and drop 29,000lbs of bombs to kill 1 or 2 GVs( which you dont get any points for because when scored as a bomber your bombs must destroy objects not GVs) just who exactly is the bigger idiot?
hhmmm....... think about it. ive been alone in a tiger against 1-5 odds and whipped butt. ive also used an m8 in tanktown as a perkcombine too. GVs move you know, learn how to do it. and n8dog get a clue.

The entire point of the thread is this: Suppression is a requisite of war, even virtual war. Spawn camping is suppression of the attacking ground vehicles. Since it can be done, and in fact was designed into the game intentionally, then it is the right of a player to do so.

Anyone that thinks to the contrary is not being realistic. In a game where you can see one guy fly formations of B26s at fifty feet to a nearby field, for consecutive sorties over and over until the field has been completely degraded, you should expect this. If, you don't expect it, you need to take up knitting or some other low brain activity.
