Non smoking section?

The buildings at the land bases can burn and smoke when damaged. Why don't the ships in the task forces catch fire , burn and throw off big clouds of smoke?

I think the wakes should be more clearly visible from higher altitudes.

"The torpedoes used in World War II were usually 20 to 24 ft (6.1 - 7.3 m) long, carrying up to 600 lb (272 kg) of explosives at a speed of 50 knots for more than 10,000 yd (9,144 m)."

If AH torps ran as fast as they should this wouldn't be a problem... ours run like they're draggin an AK behind 'em! :D
