Next month I'll play the Ruhr scenario:

In this scenario, If all buffs will fly in a unique big formation, I figure a Big BiG BIG BIIIIIIG Head-On: :cool:
 
 
60 B17 +120 Drones + 90 Jugs
VS
90 LW Fters

In this way there's the possibility of a total of 360 planes at the same time !!

How many planes have you ever seen at the same time on the screen ?
Or even in the same sector?

What it's your record?
 
Would My Cpu resist?
Would the AH Server Resist?
What about Net Stat

Squad ops I've seen 15 B17's in our group each with  drones, Plus 2 more bomber groups roughly same size ahead of us.

Plus P51 groups as escort.

Not sure what the exact limit is, but I'm pretty sure it is 32 planes you can see at one time.  After that they blink in and out on your screen.  

Happened a lot during the "Big Week" scenario.. the LW could literally fly right up the bombers tulips because the bombers couldn't even see them.

In this way is there the possibility LW fighters become "stealth Fighters" which appear at the last moment?

Hello Gnappo,

While there is a remote possibility that you will end up with 360 planes in your view I doubt that will happen.

I am sure Jordi (Allied Co) understands what this will mean for his guys. Also concentrating his bombers into one large group makes it easier for the LW to find and kill them.

I would guess and say the bombers will be in smaller groups, the allied escorts will be split among these groups and possible sweeps ahead of the formations.

The LW will need scouts and will need to take up positions in different areas to be able to respond to the possibility of different attack directions. LW pilots will have no in flight radar and will be vectored to the allied bombers by ground controllers. They will need to be at altitude and in the correct area if they hope to intercept the bombers before they drop. The allies could attack from any direction so the LW will need to be “spread out” to cover as many of these avenues as possible.

Inevitably there will be some lag issues but over all I would guess that it should be no worse then in other events
