The Problem with Aces High
« on: January 22, 2004, 11:35:58 PM »
Aside from the slight headache and hunger pains I incur from Eighty Four Hour Binges on nothing but Aces High and Poptarts with Mountain Dew as my drink... I find myself starting to halucenate and thinking that things are not as they seem. The following is a short list of some of the problems I have found on my Cafeene and Sugar Insominac Binges...

1 - Bish Planes start to look like Rubber Ducks with Machine Guns

3 - I find myself being unable to count and calling out mismatched co-ordinants like "I am in secor Bob and Keypad Sexy Momma"

2 - Rook Planes start looking like flying bricks

4 - Creepy Flying bricks, the kind that you wish you could send against the enemy but no matter how hard to try to take em over, they keep coming after you

5 - A B26 Formation appears to be a Hotdog and some kosher pickles inflight low over the sea.

6 - Giant Chickens start attacking ack on Knight Bases

7 - Due to the idiotcy of this post, Number seven has been removed for its pure ludacris intentions

8 - Cobra starts looking sexy... FBCobra

9 - I start thinking that my hands can touch anything but themselves

10 - Watch HTC take this post off because of the lewd use of the word in the following sentence

11 - My Masturbation Hand starts suffering greatly since its terminally trying to pull the fire button

12 - Last but not least, I start my rantings

I strongly suggest the following rules.

You must at SOME point in the 24 hour peiod sleep for at least 2 hours.

You must at some point have at least one meal. Pop tarts & junk food don't count.

Its surprsing you've only had mild side effects so far.

It gets worse from here!

The REAL problem with Aces High is they don't have a new users' arena. I was teasing some noob on ch1 named airhead3 bout "stealing" my name and someone commented "don't worry, he'll be gone in two weeks"- and that's the problem. Noobs come in, get clubbed and leave.

The solution would be a new users' arena like AW had so noobs could fly against each other. The training arena is cool, but with the ammo turned down it's not demonstrative of MA action. A new users arena, in which your IP could be banned from having ammo after so many kills, would also give squad recruiters a chance to recruit, and might retain so many noobs who come in, die for two weeks and leave.

Could  you imagine how humbling it would be to have one of the good sticks go in there and get kills without ammo -- you know auger'em into the ground stall fighting or making noobs lawn dart.

I like the idea of the noobs arena, but at some point the best learning method is to go against a seasoned pro and get yourself waxed a few times.

Sabre: sorry, I don't mean to hijack your brilliant delusional post with something off that topic.
