Californians... how's the governator working out

I'm amazed at how quiet things got in regards to the governator.  What are the impressions from those affected on his performance to date?

He appears to be focusing on getting the spending addicts under control.  Too early yet to have any real results but so far so good.  Too bad he's a liberal otherwise.

Still a bit early.

I am a tad disapointed he is trying to get a bond measure passed to get the budget in place.

We need to cut back spending.

The states income has grown, it is just that Graydisphit over spend that increase.

We should force every government agency with a budget to cut 10%

He did come through on his promise to toss the car tax increase.  So that is a minor improvement.

I think the iowa BS is taking the atention from him.... Man I want that dean screech as my ringer on my cell. To bad motorola sucks balls.

He's the best democratic governer we've had since Jerry Brown.

Honestly, he's getting a pass so far simply because he is DOING SOMETHING. As opposed to the idiot he replaced.

Liberal? I thought he was pretty conservative. Liberal compared to whom?

Yeah, he's doing something alright. By not pressing for a proper judgement over the overcharges this state incured during the energy crunch he's effectivley reduced the estimated 9 billion refund to what the court has decided was 'fair', a paltry 142 thousand. That 9B or even a partial amount would have greatly helped our budget situation.

Not surprising a bit, IMO.

BTW, he's decided that he'll not investigate allegations of sexual harrasment/abuse against himself....what a POS!

As good as anybody could, better than most predicted. Let's face it, Cali's an expensive place to run. I still wouldn't live anywhere else.

The energy crunch, yep we got shafted, nope nobody cares. But we did a lot of it to ourselves by not expanding our own infrastructure.

What's really changed though over the last 20 years? The sun still shines ALL the time, the surf rocks, the girls are still the hottest around and get naked at the river and everybody has a blast. LA's full of gangs and sushi bars and plastic people, everybody's smoking dope in OC, everybody's bummed in the IE cause they don't live in OC, nobody can read, the freeways suck. What's the new news?

We could probably fix everything by letting Walt Disney Co. run the state from Anaheim and charge admission.

I'm partying in the parking lot at Edison Field tomorrow before the Monster Truck show and going boarding at Big Bear early Sunday morning. I'll make it back in time to have a couple of beers at the beach and probably watch some chicks playing volleyball in their flossys if it's 70 something like it is today. There's no place like home.:aok
