My kids started watching a new show called boobah.  It reminds me of the teletubbies (wich i despise and refuse to let my kids watch)

I screened the show like I usually do with them and thaught it looked more like a 60's acid flash back with kids.  I think the show stemmed from the UK but i'm not sure.  If anyone has any info about it good or bad let me know.  Check out this site though pretty trippy.

Has Jerry Falwell seen this? The purple one is obviously gay. You’re right to be wary -- it’s just another plot to recruit innocent children into the homosexual lifestyle.

cmon polotics aside teletubbies just look evil to me......but the main reason I dont let my kids watch it is they dont come close to using proper english in the show.  My neisces couldnt talk for crap till they were about 6 cause of teletubbies.  I dont let the TV teach my kids English but I do want them to hear proper language when they watch cartoons

Good shows for kids that are on these days:

Oobi (Noggin channel)
Tweenies (Noggin)
Dora the Explorer (Dizney)
Sesame Street (PBS)

Any others people like?

Between the Lions (PBS, I think): pretty good for kids just starting to read.

Zoom (PBS): for kids a little older

Why are you letting your toddlers watch TV anyway?

Some television is good for kids plus if you don't let them watch stuff when they go spend the night with other kids they will be a zombie glued to the television. We have some friends who don't allow their kids to see the television and when those kids come over to our house we have the hardest time getting them to even go outside. The reason is they are sheltered beyond belief to what is on television and they don't even get to see shows like Oobie and other decent kid shows. I let my son watch Dora the Explorer because it gives him a chance to help him learn what some words are in Spanish. He also watches Oobie on Noogin because it seems to be a pretty good show for after school. Other than that he does watch Justice League with me at night just before bed. That is a kick butt show along with American Choppers, Monster House, Monster Garage, Junkyard Wars and Southern Choppers. The kid is really into building things and loves to recreate what he sees with his Lego's while the show is going on. We also watch alot of the Discovery Wings channel on the weekend and SPORTS all the time. He has already told me he wants to be an engineer or an architect.

That Boobah crap ISN'T coing on my televisions. If it is I think I will drop kick whoever puts it on the channel in my house. But first they will have to get past the password on the channel during that time of day.
