Are We going to Get a Pacific Themed Terrain?
« on: January 24, 2004, 05:00:11 PM »
This is really about those trees.  I hope HTC doesn't just add a lot of water on a terrain with those trees and think that will give us a Pacific theme.  We need palm trees, white sand, and blue water on one map...please!!

if you take the current terrain and adjust its hue saturation lightness you can get it very "pacific" looking, add white sand, change trees.

its a simple 3 step process.

as for when they will do it..I don't know. They will probably release a new pacific map when japanese and american fighters are released into the game.

There is a map builder for AH2?

The Terrain Editor for AH2 is coming but we don't know when. Apparently there will be a conversion process for existing terrains to the AH2 standard.

how bout..eh forget what they are called....you know, the steel paneling with holes in them that the seabees used to construct runways?

that would be cool to see in a pacific themed map.

EDIT: just remembered the name...marshtin matting or something...
