I have a cd of "Black 6" that was made after it was first restored and flown. It has start-up, run-up, taxi, take-off, flight, ect outside the plane and then recordings of cockpit sounds during the same flight. It also has about 15 min talk about the known history, restoration ect of the plane. At the time it was the only Bf-109 currently flight worthy in the world. I know someone was restoring an E model for flight during the perioud though.
A year or so after I bought this cd I saw in the news that the plane was crashed. I think it was ground-looped if I remember right, maybe not. Anyhow I heard it was going to be re-restored and put up in a museum not to be flown again. Grunhertz is the first person I've seen mention the plane since then.
If I can dig up the cd and someone wants a copy let me know. Someone in my squad ripped it and used the flight files for FB and AH sounds.
