I read "Mig Pilot" when I was a teenager shortly after the book came out. I may get a copy and read it again.

I remember being fascinated by Belenko's first impressions of America. I think he wrote that some Russians believed ( or it was a legend) that the streets in America were actually paved in gold.

Pretty good book as I remember it.
