I was bombing a enemy fleet and on the way back I though what the heck

That ugly thing landed easier than F6F but I didnt check how much I got fuel left (Maybe 10%)
Take-off was like a childs play: Full throttle and flaps one notch down and there we go

Its not too far fetched.

I've seen real photos of a C-130 that landed on a US Navy nuclear carrier.

Of course it needed JATO take off from the fantail and the ship going full speed.

Hans.

Not being able to connect at the moment, I'll nonetheless give my opinion, based on common sense and brand W.
First, my ol' CO Honker back in brand W has a photo of a navalized b25 hitting the traps on a CV.
Second, buffs have very low stall speeds, and the CV is moving fairly fast.  In those conditions, you really don't need much runway.  heck, in brand W, putting a b17 on the deck was a piece of cake.  With a little practice, you could stop it on the fantail.  I even pulled off some emergency landings with half the recommended number of engines and control surfaces.
So, it should be both easier than it looks and way cool.

Now, here's the question I'm dying to know: does the CV have a hot-rearm pad? <BEG>

As soon as you stop(catch a wire) it starts to reload your plane.
