Okay, Daff, I was off on the avg. age, I said 38, its 33.8 years avg. age.  The metrics  for those who served in their respective countries was on the AGW about a year ago, you'll have to search that thread, I may find the time today though. Keep in mind that in Germany and other countries service time is Mandantory at age 18, so when I said about 40%, I'll be that figure is within 10% of what I was quoted as saying...

You know what, Rip, I'm not interested in a pissing contest with you.
Partly because I'm not very good at them, but they're also an utter waste of time.
I havent promoted WB on this board and I haven't critizid AH either...I'm not interested in doing that. I fly AH a couple of times a month as a distraction. (Mainly during the early part of the RPS, when the P-47 isnt available), but also to say hi to some old friends.
Apart from your recent "posts", the only threads I've replied to have been about airplanes (you know..the WW2 ones, this sim (and board) is about.) or flying in general...not plugging about the qualities (or lack thereof) in AH/WB.
 I respect peoples choice of flying AH. Whether they prefer the flightmodel, pricing, community, whatever, it's their choice and I bet they were all perfectly capable of making that decision on their own, without me saying either for or against.

Heh, I dunno what to say to that Rip. I consider Daff to be one of my best 'online' buds. Certainly not an "idjit". The ironic thing is, I have a past with Spitboy also and have always admired the guy. The fact that you are now squaring off with these two guys is kinda amusing, and well... I'll leave it at that.

(just so's ya know, I'm a lurker at AGW so I understand the context here)

I certainly don't wanna jump into the ring with y'all, it's none of my business really. But I'll just say that nobody comes out smellin' clean. You may think you're defending yourself, righting the wrongs... wotevah... but ya can easily end up just looking like the obsessive fanatic with a huge chip on his shoulder.

IOW, you are debating in a public forum, for the public's benefit... and for the most part the perception by the public (other than complete ambivalence) is that *all* of you guys are a little bent. Unfair, maybe... but hey.

There are plenty of existing threads with these battles... Fight them there and be done with it. No need to start up another topic, digging ever deeper into the past postings to make whatever point yer trying to make. Whatever the *original* sore spot, these posts have been reduced to a he said she said... and that's kinda silly now, aint it?

I would just give it a rest.

This thing between you and the WB crowd at AGW is getting out of hand.  Things have quieted down quite a bit and I for one would like to leave it that way.  However you seem determined to have the last word and continue to stur this toejam up!  Daff has never called you a liar, though he may have disagreed with your numbers, and aparently he was correct, your numbers were a little off.

This constant pissing contest with AGW and WB is getting tiring please stop.
