Watched most of superbowl from emergency
« on: February 01, 2004, 10:35:36 PM »
14 of us were playing touch ball befor watching the game and it was going great. I got a touch down on a deep route  and got open again when we got the ball back, called for the ball to get the qbs atttention and he let me have it but too long, jumped for it but only got me pinkie on it. crush..
Off to emergency with a finger that looks like mush, watched the first quarter in pieces between xrays and waiting for the hand specialist.
going in to get it rebuilt with a plate and screws tomorow.
Saw the second half at home and gotta say. Both teams showed up, bu the officials showed up only for one of them.
I was glad that it ended like it did. with the panthers in position to win but lossing it all by them selves with thier own poor play instead of the offials taking it from them.

That touch down I scored felt good though.

You should have been a man and dealt with it like Ronnie Lott did (in-game amputation).

Seriously, glad you got to see the end of the game, and glad that you will apparently get to keep the finger.  Your QB must have a hell of an arm.

I didn't notice any really bad calls (other than the fumble they ruled incomplete) but I was distracted as my friend's wife was giving birth and I was babysitting.
