Sreen refresh rate using Call of Duty - locked at 60 ??

Hi guys

Ok not and AH problem but I have a nice new fast PC which runs AH very happily at 80+ fps at 1280*1024 with 32 bit colour and the sreen freq stays at 85 (max for that res)

When I start up Cal of Duty I see the screen flicker start and when I check the monitor menu the Refresh has gone down to 60hz - why is this happenning ?  In windows it is set to 85 and when I quit COD it goes back to 85.  Is this an OpenGL setting ??

ya COD defaults to that and i dont think you can change it

My copy of CoD must be different then..... was just running it at 1024x768 @ 75Hz
