New Headphone suggestions
« on: February 02, 2004, 09:09:00 PM »
I am looking for some new headphones and have a little extra money that I am able to use on them. I have been looking for the newest Sennheiser's (PC 135, PC 145 and PC 155 USB) but can not find anything on them for a price to see if they fall in my price range.

I don't know about those Senns, but I've got a pair of 600s that absolutely rock.  One thing, though, is that you really need an amp to drive them.  Your sound card's output stage probably won't get it done.  Senn recently released their 650 model, so the prices on the 600s are probably coming down.

Thanks for the input. I got an email today from Sennheiser USA with the prices. They go for $110 - PC 135, $120 - PC 145 and $140 PC 155. I have two buddies who are wholesale music guys looking for the 155s and they can get them cheap.
