Field capture is now part of the CT
« on: December 10, 2001, 05:36:00 AM »
Hi All,
Just in case people were not aware, The CT is going through a revamp right now. Pyro has set up a CT CM group and big changes are on the way. It's an excellent team so hopefully the CT can now become what we all wanted in the 1st place <S> guys.

Field Capture is now part of the CT and the planeset has moved from RAF v LW to US v LW. The ETO map has been replaced by the "sfma" map.

(I'm not trying to "Drum up support" just keeping those with a casual interest in developments updated).  :)

Snafu...Does that mean the CA will be more like a two country main arena. If it does,it sounds interesting to me.

With these changes it seems even more interresting to me than the main arena, with its weird 3 country system. I hope the number of players will go up.

Yes this sounds very promising. Some of the players developing gameplay there is very good move from HTC!
Never been at CT, but now I'm going to check it out.

If I recall it correctly, there's allied vs. axis already?

EDIT: After reading my post I noticed that someone could take it as a underestimating HTC's developing, that was not my intention.
HTC's done superb job and still doing, this is one example of their unprejudiced (huh,sp?) game developing.

OTOH, if CT arena's not going to be popular, HTC can always blame CT-staff. I'm sure they will do it with pleasure, after all these years of whining and ranting it's their pay back time!
 :D

What we have now is an interum setup that pyro threw together til we get our heads together. Much is being discussed on Combat Theater staff board and I expect really good things to come out of it.
