No Icons equals no interest from a ton of AH folks...  Sorry

That flies in the face of why it is gaining in popularity.

The no icons will most likely stay. It is the only arena without the help of icons. Makes the game more interesting.

No wonder Grizz is so good. Living in virtual world must be way more exciting than living in Lincoln Nebraska.

I'm all for the no icons, something different every now and then.  I do believe that's main reason it's popularity has grown, just the other night had like 25 to 30 guys in there and it was a blast.

Keep  :rock AvA looking good  :salute

yesterday afternoon i went in there for awhile and i suddenly realized that no one was landing kills. this is when you can tell that the arena, players and planes are pretty well matched up. i saw no one land even 2 or 3 kills.

we both know the reason for that  ;)

ACTUALLY, i did see a lot of kills being landed in the evening......only one of em were mine....and i was lucky to get that one.

gonna load a harpoon gun on the ole 38 o doom. that way, when i lose sight, the cable will tug my nose around onto the target.  :noid :rofl

I can only imagine how much better anyones gunnery would be in the MA after a month or so in AvA with no icons....

For me, no icons means that I don't even try a shot until I'm down to 250 yards or so (I think....who can tell?).  Very historical.

something neat i noticed.........when i watched the film of my fight.....the icons show up there.

during my fight, there were 4 other bad guys in easy picking range. none did.

my shooting was late. a lot of my shots seemed to go behind the con. one time, i fired at 800, but the rest of the times were 300 and closer.

me using my ma mentality, when the 109 put his nose down, i assumed he was running, and i was popping off 50- cal to try and tickle him into turning. i missed, and he turned anyway....he wasn't running at all. he was trying to reset the fight, as it had gotten a bit slow.

i think this is gonna be a good thing. maybe this is why so many seem to be able to hit so well.........
