Missed 22, rushed through it, most of them were due to abbrivations

I am about to take this test. I will use correct (ie English) spellings in preference to corrupted (American) ones. :p

It said I got 10 wrong.  Hmmm....

Not convinced by the results, I entered some of the word pairs into the Word spell checker (Language set to UK English). It appears that at least two pairs (ones I got wrong) have alternative spellings...



Now whereas in the UK we are broadminded enough to accept that alternative spellings exist, the American author of this test has the temerity to suggest that the English spelling in some cases is wrong, and does not even consider it as an alternative. I attribute this to typical American arrogance.

The others were words I never need to use. After all, when am I going to anoint anything? :lol
