Just a loose suggestion. 
 Normally, I used to frown upon people who brought up with the search&rescue ideas. I thought it wasn't very practical. 
 ..
 Well, with the new "Dude" and the new terrain, I suddenly realized that it could be realllly fun. I was shot down by an enemy fighter in AH2 beta and bailed. I landed somewhere between my home field and the enemy field. 
 The terrain surrounding me was beautiful. It wasn't as detailed as FPS games, but really, how many FPS games have a terrain that has vegetation for hundreds of square miles??
 I ran around, exploring the terrain where I was shot down. There were abandoned homes and barnhouses scattered around. The enemy fighter saw me bail out, and he came back for me. I ran into a barn, hiding there so he couldn't find me. 
 Then I saw a friendly fighter come nearby and engage him. 
 It was really cool experience. Seeing the friendly win the fight and flying close to me. I dearly wished that my bailed pilot had a flare gun. I'd shoot it up towards the sky marking my location.. if only there was some way I could be rescued!

 AH2 beta terrain is way too good looking to be just used for limited GV vs GV encounters, or just eye-candy material for those flying in the sky. 
 If AH2 is officially released and things are in motion, I'd really love to see a search/rescue aspect included in the game. (Maybe as much, a "hunt and capture" aspect could be put into the game too.. )
