CV landing lights

Has anyone passed around the idea of landing lights on carriers.
It would make night landings a little more friendly.  Maybe only make them visable from about 1-2k.

I dont recall of landing light, because I couldnt tell they use landing light during WWII and probably only a night fighter like F6F-5N or F4U-2.  I gotta study more about US Naval and Rritish Naval history.

Are you referring to "Runway Lights" on carrier decks, "Landing Lights" on aircraft, or the "Ball"?

If you are referring to the "Ball" or Mirror Projected Landing Sight (glide-slope landing system), it wasn't perfected until after WW2.

In the post-war 40s-early 50s the Brits invented the Angled Flight-Deck, the Steam Catapult, and the Mirror Projected Landing Sight.

Until then, everyone was still using Landing Signal Officers standing on the stern and waving flags or paddles.

In the 'gunship or fieldgunner' option, they should enable the signal officer :)
