HT, you fly planes n stuff right?

You've sat in that little yellow cockpit for hours and hours, right?

When you're cruising along happily and increase the manifold pressure without touching the RPM......isn't there any change in pitch at all?  None whatsoever?  None?

Last time I was in a light aircraft was 16 years ago and the memory is a little fuzzy.......but AH2 sounds weird to me.

None, if going along at cruise and change MP from say 24 to
to 20,eng just gets slight softer.Have had a number of desents where MP climbed from 20 to 24 and I never audibly noticed, RPM setting changes are very noticible , infact can set eng closer to 2400 by ear then with the gauge. I use didital point at prop tac for long cruise.

Plane is down right now, installing inverted oil. Wanted to jump back in and pay real attention to volumn change.

Also I rember distenctly after my spiner exploded and was at ideal and cruise speed. I had to realy listen if engine had restarted when I added mixture. Wasn't positve untill move throttle some.

Blimey.

This is gonna take some getting used to after years of AH1.

What about WEP?  Yeah ok, I know your little yellow thing doesn't have WEP so you can't test it, but depending on the plane and WEP type would there be an RPM change and corresponding pitch change?

Hitech, did you get a chance to listen to the 109G2 file I posted?
