I live 200 feet above a geothermal aquifer with 205F water
The house is heated with waste heat from a reverse refrigeration cycle electrical generator system I built as my college senior project. I get 2.5 KW on a cold day and turn my meter backwards and feed the grid with what I don't use.
I usually get a check from the power company...

My electric is included in the rent. That covers the heat in the winter and the central air in the summer. But I did spend $32 dollars in propane for the gas fireplace in the TV room. And I cut down 1 small tree and used half of it in the wood fireplace in the Living room and dining room.
