It was Adm Chester Nimitz, not "Bull" Nimitz.  Bull was Adm William "Bull" Halsey.

I am still trying to figure out who the gentleman in the picture is.

Ah, Harold R. Stark.  Does anyone else get the impression from looking at pictures of Stark, Kimmel, etc., that they're psychically braced to get booted in the butt by Yamamoto?
