I just DL'd and tried B16. I have not noticed any release notes regarding engine sounds since B14's note regarding "Increased engine volume at idle setting." This makes me wonder if this component is considered pretty much finished.
I much prefer the "old" way of handling sounds and find the current implementation much less immersive. I guess sound feedback from flight sims/game is a lot more important to me than I realised as I am finding it difficult to get interested in flying these AH2 planes. This continues to be a deal breaker for me, but I will keep checking out the new releases as they become available.
