Err, Oct, i'd wait till they release the higher resolution skin files.  What if they change it?

it is a higher resolution skin file, you just need to change it.

Yup, the final product is 1024x1024.  The 'output' skin file is the original untouched 256x256 file from AH1.  Just resize it to 1024 and you're set.

Not to be picky but there would not have been the yellow leading edge ID stripe on the dark earth, dark green camo. That was added when they changed to the Dark Green/Dark Sea Gray upper camo.   And I'm not sure where the RAF would have operated P40Es in that camo.  Most were in the North Africa and the Med where they had the desert camo of the dark earth and tan.

There were some early Tomahawks flown in that camo in England, but I don't believe P40Es from everything I can find.

Keep in mind I couldn't do the great work you are doing on the skins, so I'm not criticizing, just trying to help out :)

Right, it's a Tomahawk disguised as a Kittyhawk IA ;)

Dont forget to mention that the desert conditions tended to turn the tan paint on the aircraft to a very pretty shade of pink.
so while they may have started tan. they typically didnt stay that way ;)

Hey Oct.... hint hint... something like this when you have a few mins ;) :) :)

Fg Off Neville Duke
Kittyhawk Mk.I, 112 Sqn, North Africa late 1942

I think that makes it a P40D?  But the one below is a Kittyhawk Ia, P40E
