Logged on about 30 min ago and immediately started furballing.

Whenever I was d1.0 or less from an enemy, I got nasty stutters. Seemed like it was common throughout MA.

Not lag, not fps drop.. just stutters.

Lemme guess -- the frame freezes, then half a second later, you see another, until finally you break out of it?

Yeah, I'm seeing that too, as were the squadmates I was with last night.

I'm seeing this too, a little more on this (including my detailing of it) in this thread.

Yip, i noticed that too. i immediatly looked for the thick smoke plume (as this is what normally causes it for me), but not a shred of smoke or a cloud to be seen.

Moose, I'm having that happen too, but I'll bet it's related to voice comms.

When AH first gave us voice comms (as part of the game), I immediately noticed that sometime, I would be flying along and then my plane would freeze -- literally continue in the direction it was going at that instant.  It would last anywhere from 1 to 5 seconds or so.  If my plane was pointed down and I was close to the ground, yep, uncontrolled lawn dart.

I finally figured out that it was caused by time-outs on the AH (or whoever was the RW server) RW server.  I quit using AH RW and the problem vanished.

Now, HTC is bringing voice comms to the arena as part of the AH package.  Coincidentally, at exactly the same time, I started seeing the stuttering you described.

Yup, had it when I logged on last night. Was in a Zeke surrounded by a Nikki, Spit, and a 205. I'd bet they were all fighting over voice on who would get to whack me. Tore the wings off the Nikki, which continued to fly (burning) and I was shot down. Next up, a few stutters, clobber the same 205 (who flew on) and his buds kilt me. I relogged, rebooted (assuming connect probs) and everything was fine.

FWIW, it precisely mimics the typical frame freezes of WWIIO, if that helps anyone understand what we're seeing.

I got it, always have, had with my new system, had it with my old system, had it in WBs. I've tried everything to get rid of it, short of having a priest come in and try an exorcism.
