The Royal Aeronautical Society is holding a lecture at 6 pm on Thursday 18th March entitled: 'Flying Old Aeroplanes in the 21st Century. The Handling qualities of World War II fighters' to be delivered by Sqn Ldr David Southwood, a testpilot who has flown Spits, Hurris, 109s, Mustangs, Hellcats and Corsairs amongst other WW2 planes.
You can download more information
here The Society is at Hamilton Place, which is on Park Lane (just opposite the main entrance to the four seasons hotel).
Is anyone interested in going? We could all have dinner and a drinky afterwards? If anyone is coming from out of town and needs a room for the night I can offer one.
