Let's not lose sight of the goal: The proof there are no uber planes, just uber pilots.
Let's sweeten the pot a bit. Let's do what I originally suggested (top 10 in 202s vs. 10 average guys in 190a5/me109-g10/p47)and then, let's take the top 5 based on their performance (against the average guys) and do this:
Fly each of the top 5 against each other (one time) where they fly each of the rides under question (190a5/me109-g10/p47.)
That's 5*4/2*9 or 180 one fight duels. Since we're interested in realism, I would suggest a co-alt, fire on first-pass scenario.
At the end of the 180 fights, I'll bet my left wing cannon that we'll see one or two guys with few defeats. We could simply add up the wins/losses and you would have it: No uber planes, just uber pilots.
