I don't know that given the choice most people will furball but it sure seems that people are attracted to a big fight... and why not? that's what we are here for.

dred... I don't understand how any map we have can force you to furball. if the fields are 10 miles apart you can take off 10 20 30 40 or more miles away from the fight and you are allmost guarenteed that someone like minded will be doing the same.... no matter how high you go there will be someone a little bit highere for you to run away from or to run away from you.

I don't bother because the guys up ther aren't much challenge... you spend all that time working your way up to em and then you have to convince them they have an advantage or they will run.... they are pretty easyu kills but it takes forever and is boring. but... If I want.. I can find all those fights I want on every map.

close fields don't force people to do anything.

well.... I do believe that most of the sky accounts fear that given a choice... people will ignore them.... the players will look for the big fun fites. I believe that the other map makers have the wrong idea except fester. Most want to channel the game for one style of gameplay... the one they enjoy. Fester understands choice. He doesn't allways make me happy but he gives the best choices of all the players making maps.

Well...its all moot , that abomination we call Big Isl's is up now, if any map needed to be rotated with small maps its this one.

Is Big Isl's the one that looks like trinity turned inside out?

Water here the land was and land where the water was?

If so, at least we get some good fights when the carriers off shore, otherwise your right.
