Yup i do. Only for fun now a few days a week. Used to do it everyday when i was "young"

I trained under Dave Campbell at a Jon Park gym here for about five years. Dave was a world ITF champion for a few years during the Dennis Alexio and Benny the Jet era.

Great teacher with strong 2.5 hour classes, primarly oreintated around the full contact aspect of Tae with alot of Akido hand techniques for in close. He would teach practical applications of the Art not the gay and usless point sparing you find in 99% of marshal arts gyms.

Lots of full contact with open and closed 16 oz gloves, just no inner or outter leg kicks. Regardless my legs were all black and blue and often i could barely walk down a flight of stairs.

Funny thing is my inseam is the same as my reach. :rofl

cheers...

I can do about 50 before my arms give out--takes about two minutes, I'm guessing.

Here's an interesting exersise though, try doing 10 per minute for 15 minutes. Starts off pretty easy, but gets pretty difficult.

That would depend on whether or not the wife is below me while performing push ups.

This, as far as I am concerned, is the most sensible answer to the question.:aok

I did some at the YMCA today...

I was doing them for in a min.

I got to 28 before I stretched a muscle in my neck, this is after my surgery though, and my neck has been tight..

Seriously, I haven't done a push up in at least 10 years, but I bench press (max, 1 rep) 315 and work out regularly with 225-275 (Progressive pyramid, 4X10 to fatigue)  Push ups are very hard on the shoulders as one poster proclaimed above, and I've had surgery on one shoulder, so push ups are off limits (Doctors orders, and definately no Military press weight lifting). You'd think that Bench press would be a similiar motion to push ups, but bench press doesn't affect my bum shoulder at all.  Considering how much I weigh (200 lbs) I *should* be benching 350 max, but I'm getting old...:(

Rip is like 43 or something, that's pretty good for an old fart.

And I weigh 15 lbs less than him now? Muscle or not, :p .
