im just wondering if there was an official post related to when AH2 will be released and what we can and cant expect.

I'm pretty sure there is a universal constant that all software will be released in 2 something from the time of the last question. In our case I think we can rule out 2 minutes or 2 days. That leaves 2 weeks, 2 months, or 2 years. Of course this clock may be reset at any time.

Last "official" time frame I saw was 3rd qtr 03. I'm guessing before summer, but I always was optimistic.

I hear the online version of ah2 is working just the h2h is out of comision. I guess there is going to be an updated form of ma when final release comes out.

I heard 2 weeks 4 weeks ago as release date and heard 2 weeks from somone yesterday. and so the cycle continues.

I wonder what the new h2h will be like. anyone know about it? dont see why its not up now, guess they figure they can get more money by just haveing online up because everyone wants a peak. I hear its basicly empty in there.

he only things i heard was skuzzy say about 2 weeks about maybe a week ago or so. and i also heard the MA will be simular to AH1??????

does anyone know....will we have to pay ANOTHER subscription to play AH2 or will it be free to those of us playing AH1 now?

The MA as we know it will be replaced with AH II : Classic ... later on there will be another arena that will be used for AH II : Tour of Duty. This arena will have the scripted missions and all that other good stratgey stuff that a lot of people are waiting patiently for.

Once AH II is switched on, the will be NO MORE AH1 ... ergo, the current subscription that we have now will carry into AH II.

2 weeks is a community joke whenever someone asks the date of something.

Currently there is a ah2 beta arena running but is empty 90% of the time. It is just beta so it is not complete, just some redone planes and prettier graphics. Last official date like said above was q3 03 but my guess is we will have the ah2 classic up and running by summer and maybe TOD up by the following november or so. There is still lots of work to be done.

h2h and ma will not change very much and will be dubbed "ah classic"-basically current ah that we have now just prettier graphics.

The meat and potatoes of ah2 will be Tour of duty-a totally new historical arena that functions toatally different from any of our current arenas. it will include roleplaying elements and ai, and all flights will be organized missions, so you can expect to see HUGE formations of b17s.

ok, so....we will see a MA like the current but with updated graphics. we do not have to pay an extra fee to play AH2. COOL

im looking forward to the AH2 MA and might even try the RPG aspect as well. cant wait
