Take off with full tank or 75%.
Use the aux tank to climb up to 15-20k.
The left and right go quick and the main lasts a while. If you don't keep the throttle open the whole time you can have more endurance. Obly use when in combat, climbing or running away (hehehe)

C205 and C202 are my planes for this tour.  I usually take 75% fuel.  I burn the aux tank first, then switch manually between the left and right wing tanks.  This increases the roll rate by a lot and seems to make the whole aircraft more agile.  The main lasts a while, just manage your fuel and you're good to go.  It holds E very well and has a decent armament.  C202 has a decent armament too as long as you're a good shot  :)

One of the best in AH i feel.

oct out!

Oct is right about the fuel burn sequence. Makes a big difference.

Wing tanks are small on the 205, doesn't take long to burn them.

Great little plane, lots of class, does a lot of things fairly well.

Burn the aux out completely.

Manually burn the wings out. I used to burn half the left, all the right and finish the left. That way you never have one wing REAL out of balance. It is unbalanced but you can trim it out easily.

Then the main.

Only thing to watch out for is you are in manual burn and the tanks won't auto switch. A full wing tank doesn't last long in a fight.

Can't count how many times I engaged in manual while burning a wing tank and had the prop stop on me in mid-fight. Eventually, you learn to check at first sign of a fight.  :)

Ya I love it, I flew it a lot when I first came to AH but then I explored different mounts for a while and sorta rediscovered it in the last few tours, I had like 160 pluss kill's in last tour, great plane.

I agree.  The 205 is one of the best all round fighters in here.  It is a real sweet flying airplane with no vices, a real Ferrarri of a fighter.  Gives good perk points too!  I like the C.202 also but man it takes forever to kill anything with it.  You can park on somebodys tail and just blaze away with no results.
