but all the lip-service asside, rich republican politicians don't want guns in the hands of your average american, anymore than the dems do.

Now that is just plain wrong.

Most liberals are members of the socialist party.  And i'm not talking about their ideals or the way they portray themselves.  They are literally members of the socialist party.

And the one most evil thing for a socialist is the common man rising up against the government.  Hence why they don't like guns.

They can have my gun when they pry it from my cold, dead hand.
I regret doing business with TD Computer Systems.

since I said Dems and you say liberals, I'm assuming you think the terms are interchangable.

so if what you say is true why would these Dems ever register as a democrat?  if we are all card carrying socialists we could jsut call it the socialist party.

almost everybody I know personally(at least the smarter ones) are democrats, and I don't know of a single one who's a socialist.

I do know one guy who is a socialist but he says he's a socialist not a democrat of a 'LIB'

I think they scrubbed too hard during your brainwashing.

That's interesting. Almost everyone I know personally over the age of 40, and this includes (at the top of the intellect scale, of course) at least 5 neurosurgeons and 7 theoretical physicists(not mentioning any lawyers or brokers, mind you), are conservatives. I'm 26 and am pretty moderate, until it comes to people sticking their hands into my pocket. Most of the people I know who are my age are still in their 'ideological' stage--ie, liberals.

Churchill once said: he who is not a liberal at 20 has no heart... He who is not conservative at 40 has no brain.

I Hope you're closer to 20.

When I said liberals, I meant those that are in office.  It actually suprised me by how many are members of the socialist party.

But the socialist party isn't really a front political party like Republicans or Democrats.  Mainly because it would lose.  So it's sort of a Major league club.
